Changes for April 2009

Battle Chant: +20% Primary/Secondary, +20% Counter, -10% hit points, randomized pillage geld
Battle Chant affected by spell level (all 4 effects)
Doubled encyclopedia values for magic and psychic attacks, to more accurately reflect their power. Combat damage is unchanged.
Moon: Favor bonus decreased to +5% m.p.
Satan: Favor bonus decreased to -5% m.p. upkeep (-10% pop and geld)

Changes for June 2009

You can set a reserve fund that won't be used for preorders.
Lucifer favor boosts secondary AP too.
No siege penalty when attacking fliers
Skill point generation is based entirely on guilds
Removed 5% guild skill cap, and replaced it with diminishing returns
Scry now mimics an enchantment
Unit ability 'piercing' - Unit with the ability piercing strike is 10% less resisted when attacking.
Werebears: added piercing ability
Army size no longer affects who wins in battle, it is based purely on power lost. (Army size does have a small effect with power ratios greater than 2:1).
Gods have learned a new spell that is better than The Holy Light.

Changes for August 2009

Gorilla: +100% mp upkeep, -15% geld upkeep
Medusa: +50% upkeep
Concentration: Gives the same research bonus to all colors.
Serenity: +50% casting cost, targets enemy's good spells first, targets ally's good spells last.
Gods no longer cast Serenity.
Gods learn a new spell - Spell Strike - Removes all beneficial enchantments.
Gods learn a new spell - Indulgence of God - Removes all harmful enchantments + epidemics.
You can overbid yourself.
Added random targets to war page, using the same "hide mages" settings as rank list.
Status report now lists god relation expiration time as a mouse-over effect.
Info on disbanded guilds is not deleted.
Removed ND item/spell bombing daily limit until the first seal of Armageddon breaks

Changes for November 2009

You can spend turns to double your research rate
+45% spell research cost
Barrier Proficiency: Nerfed if you run low barriers
Minimum land captured in a regular/siege reduced to 0.
Guild NAPs are visible to everyone.

Minor Indulgence: Increased limit to 7
Monkey Brains: Affects primary and secondary attacks.

Spell Penetration: Does not affect unit resistance
Bottle of Eversmoking: Removed
Cosmetics: Removed
Dozens of Silver-tipped Arrows: Removed
Treasure Map: Removed
Strange Metallic Can: Nerfed Legendary Artificer combo by 40%
Pouch of Herbs: Nerfed Legendary Artificer combo by 26%
Destroy Artifacts: Changed to a white complex
Merchant: Trading profits are reduced if you have low population
Hitting off spells always gives a counter
Steal Artifact: Increased offcolor success rate
Love and Peace reduces primary and secondary attack by 20%.
All treefolk: +68% attack power, +68% counter, +68% hitpoints, -16% upkeep
Plant Growth: nerfed by 40%, offcolor nerfed by 100%
Plant Growth: increases treefolk upkeep by 20%
Luck / Misfortune from the gods affect accuracy in battle (again)
New pairing rules for extra stacks
Patron status enabled

All battle spells, items, and uniques that affect primary attack power, now affect secondary attack power too.
Battle Lust: Nerfed by 33%
Flame Blade: Affects all fire units
Foul Water: Affects all poison units
Sword of Light: Affects all holy units
Bubble Wine: Attack bonus nerfed by 50%
Potion of Valor: Nerfed by 33%
Blue Ice: Nerfed by 40%
Excalibur: Nerfed by 40%
Hell Fire: Nerfed by 60%
Helm of ESP: Nerfed by 50%
Pandora's Box: Nerfed by 50%
Soul Eater: Nerfed by 60%, affects all units' attack power
The Crimson Banner: Nerfed by 33%
Thor Hammer: Nerfed by 60%
Thunder Blade: Nerfed by 40%
Spell Mastery: Reduces turn cost by a percentage
Added a damaged status counter on war.cgi

Blocked Spells/Items no longer prevent going into Meditation
Flame Blade: Nerfed AP bonus by 50%
Dragon Slayer (item): Nerfed by 40%
Oil Flasks: Nerfed by 20%
Scroll of Protection from Fire: Nerfed by 20%
Brooch of Protection: Nerfed by 20%

Starting skill selected is now on-color (change from Legendary Commander default)
Removed unused units from Encyclopedia
Enemylist add/remove message sent to ND mages
Added hero kill message in battle reports
Added "build" and "explore" links to build results page if not enough wilderness causes the buildings not to be built
Voting page now lists when you can vote again (assuming you have voted in the past 24 hrs)

Option to recruit all available barracks units at once, all with the same quantity.
Disband interface no longer shows separate result page, but rather integrates the result into the disband page (just like a successful summon)
Guild member list is now sortable

Lady Luck expire notice
Link to refresh disband and button to disband all
Chronicles now display guild tags
Guild battle log now displays guild tags, spells and items
Priority Mail messages can be sent by those with access.
Mainmenu new mail link changes colour based on most important unread message.
Choosing Select All when choosing stacks to send into battle will only check the top 10 stacks.
Scry unit information updates properly
Scry now displays hero count and hero name/profession
Battle simulator added for supporting mages under the War page (war.cgi)
Stack calculator added for supporting mages under the War page
Sell Item page shows estimates of total and selected items worth
Checkboxes to sell all of one type of item - and a checkbox to select all items
Swords and Spawning areas of the Black Market now lists upkeeps for stacks
