I know there was a suggestion awhile back about displaying awards (ie. HoFs, UBB Vets, Top Guild GM, etc) on UBB accounts to help distinguish an individual's in-game/ UBB accomplishments. Nothing much happened with the suggestion, but anyways...

Possible UBB awards:

HoF on Arch

HoF on Beta

HoF on Guild

Guild Master on any Server
(4-5 sets leading a guild)

SPAM Award
(Server mods hand these out)

If there is any interest in rekindling the displayable in-game/ UBB awards, I'll make more.

Is it even practical to suggest this addition to the UBB... can it be done? I think adding awards that are displayed on UBB accounts would add a more permanent sense of accomplishment to each mage; help give them a long term goal. I know it's been suggested before but no point in wasting my time making tiny awards if it's not practical. I was thinking about a spot under the account avatar... Input?

Absolutely .. a very very good suggestion, but you are right in one way .. it will not be the easiest thing to integrate. And yes, right below the avatar .. in that area .. perfect.

Shouldn't be difficult, phpBB has a ranking system where it displays a rank image underneath the avatar.
That can be used to assign these award icons.

recent developments... Beta really beta again, no longer a supplement for a blitz server with stimulated competition for HoF....

icons for HoF on Beta = and/or = HoF on Blitz

I would be more than happy to design new/ better/ updated ones. But I'll need some sort of "go-ahead" from a programmer (ie. someone willing to implement the awards). I really don't feel like putting time into making the awards if they'll never be implemented. I think I have enough to get started as is. I'll make more when/ if someone is willing to code the changes.
